Stone Hill STEM Labs

In this course students will learn about robotics, A.I, machine learning, and automation through the eyes of a careers and people that are on the forefront of creating them; mechanical engineering, electrical engineer, and a computer scientist.  We will also study how these technologies are used in the applications of manufacturing, transportation, and communication systems.

Some additional topics that will be discussed include what industries are using this technology and the social/cultural impact of these technologies.

This class is structured to use Project/ Problem Based Learning (PBL).  In this model we focus on learning through doing.  Students will learn skills and knowledge through activities then apply those same skills and knowledge with challenge project that uses a authentic real world problem as its framework.
